MBA students from Pennsylvania State University, have visited our factory in Zagreb for the third consecutive year. Their area of interest is innovation in the industries, and in particular those that influence planning, production and purchasing in the automotive industry. During the visit, they got acquainted with challenges, opportunities and innovations in the automotive industry, market research and export. ADP Starter is a new structured internship program for masters in mechanical engineering and industrial engineering with no work experience, which has just been launched. During the internship year, ADP Starters will collect new knowledge and skills in all key company departments. Depending on the acquisition of knowledge, affinities and opportunities, their responsibilities will gradually expand. Each module will be evaluated by the mentor, but also by the Starter in order to make the program as good as possible in practice. After the internship year, the Starters will have the possibility of further career development within the company.

Krešimir Banjan, Ivan Drnas, Ivana Karin, Anamarija Markotić and Tomislav Petrić are the first in a series of many Starters we plan to train. Welcome to the AD Plastik team!

AD Plastik Group traditionally symbolically marks the International Women’s Day at all of its production sites. Every woman deserves admiration and respect, and knowledge, commitment and effort of our female employees are the values that we recognize everyday.

Our factory in Solin was visited for the first time by the students of the Technical School from Imotski. Professor Petrana Brečić wanted to motivate her students and show them how does it look like in practice what they teach them everyday in school. Through active participation and questions during the tour of the production plant, the students expressed their enthusiasm and confirmed that this is the best way to learn – the theory in practice. The automotive industry is an outstanding challenge for young students, and even though this was the first, it will surely be just one in a series of visits in the future.

For the first time we have presented ourselves as AD Plastik Group at the job fair in Tiszaújváros, which caused a huge interest among young Hungarian engineers. They showed the greatest interest for our products and technologies, they were interested in the possibility of employment in engineering positions and in production operations. Production manager Lénárt László and Banók Zsuzsanna from the human resources department talked with visitors who were extremely interested in the AD Plastik Group which they recognized as a desirable employer. Job fairs allow us to communicate directly and exchange information with job seekers of different profiles, which greatly helps future employees and us as an employer. See you again!
